Small group and opportunities to Pray Together

 New Study Series – ‘The Me I Want To Be’ Starts on Sunday 8^th January

The series will consist of sermons based on the five studies every other week.  There are five weeks of small group studies and an additional sermon for the launch not connected to a study at all.  Therefore, the sermon series will run on: January 8th, 22nd, February 12th, 26th, March 11th, 25th.  There is a DVD and study guides for small groups which will be available from small group leaders soon.

Our Church has a number of evening and daytime ‘Small Groups’ meeting in homes around the city or at church, usually once a fortnight. These provide the opportunity to share together in bible study, prayer, discussion etc. The choice of study and style will vary to suit each group.

Sometimes all will follow the same material, linking with Sunday services. Occasionally there will be special short term groups following a particular theme such as ‘Post Alpha’, Discipleship (eg. Freedom in Christ), Church Membership, etc.  All are welcome to join one of our groups. If you will like to know more, please ask when you attend an activity at our church or contact us on the church telephone and we will arrange for someone to contact you.

Prayer Meetings

Church Prayer meeting – 1st Wednesday of month – 7.30 pm, Barrass room – PRBC.

Julian Prayer group – 1st Monday of the month (except bank holidays) – 7.30 pm  Sparklers room – PRBC.

Churches Together Prayer Breakfast – 1st Saturday of the month 8.00 am rotating around different city centre churches.  The next one is on Saturday 7th January 2012  in the main hall at Park Road Baptist Church.
