Disability Community Awareness Month
3rd March 2017
Disability Community Awareness Month

Serpentine Green

Disability Peterborough and Inspire Peterborough have teamed up with Serpentine Green Shopping Centre in Hampton to host the City's first ever "Disability and Community Awareness Month"

They are giving local community groups and organisations the opportunity to get involved by arranging for stands, stalls and exhibition space for groups to use. They will also have use of private space for 1:1 conversations.

They are working with local drama groups to bring themed plays and they will be holding "talking lunch" sessions. All stalls and exhibition stands are completely free of charge

Why not enjoy your lunch while listening to key speakers from some of the exhibitors.

Serpentine Green gets hundreds of thousands of visits each month and this focus on awareness is a fantastic opportunity for people to find out what activities, support, advice and information is available in Peterborough and beyond

The event starts Friday 3rd March and will run until Sunday 2nd April:

Week 1-Sport & Leisure activities

Week 2-Health & Well-being

Week 3-Environment and Learning

Week 4-Stronger communities
