City Centre Chaplaincy training day - 22nd September

LPP Ill listen

This event is aimed at those with a heart for wanting to take the 'good news' of Jesus out to where the people are - on the streets, businesses, shops and pubs of our cities.

When: Friday 22nd September

Where: Central Peterborough

Time: 10am - 4pm

Tickets: Please book through Eventbrite

Light Project Peterborough are pleased to offer this interactive day which will be led by street evangelist and artist Chris Duffett and assisted by others from the Peterborough City Centre Chaplaincy team.

The day will start at Wetherspoons - The Drapers Arms Pub where the team have become regulars on a Friday morning engaging with the locals and providing a listening ear.

The activities will then move to Park Road Baptist Church just a short walk away, where Chris will share some new ideas of how to engage with people on the streets which you can then take back and use in your own areas.

You will also hear some of the amazing stories from other members of the team of their adventures on the streets.

After lunch (which will be provided) you will have the opportunity to go out and take part in some street based activities with the team - or to watch if you would prefer!

The day will end back at Park Road Baptist Church with a chance to ask any final questions and a time of reflection.
