At PRBC we understand the importance of building faith in the lives of children and giving them opportunities and space to understand who Jesus is and what He has done for them.
Sunday groups are available for all children and take place during the Sunday morning service. Any children attending Sunday groups will normally stay in the service for the first 15 - 20 minutes. During this time there is a short children’s talk. Our groups are then split by age to ensure that the children get the best possible teaching appropriate to their age.
On the second Sunday of each month, we have an All Age service where worship is aimed at the whole church family, and we learn about God together.
In addition we have week day meetings for children split by age group as follows:
FIZZ (age 5 - 11)
Fizz meets once a month (usually the 4th Friday of the month) in the church from 7pm – 8pm for games, crafts, bible story and refreshments.
SWAG (age 11 upwards)
Swag meets fortnightly (usually the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month) in the church from 7pm – 8pm. On the 2nd Friday they might have a music evening, or do some cooking together or, weather permitting, go for a group walk. It's important to us that our children make friends and grow together.
On the 4th Friday there will be an opportunity to explore their faith together through reading and discussing a portion of the bible and to learn about and engage with topics which are real to their life experiences.
All our group leaders are church members, DBS checked and have a passion for Jesus, young people and demonstrating faith in every part of life.
